Kaviar Gauche

Fashion label Kaviar Gauche stunned the audience amidst their catwalk bridal collection at Berlins Fashion week. Alexandra Fischer-Röhler and Johanna Kühl proved there are no boundaries behind their designs. This G-string bridal dress stood out amoung the collection as possibly the most risqué wedding dress ever to be seen. Talk about a blushing bride...

I can't lie, i think this is incredible, and if marriage is ever on the cards for me in the future i would consider opting for this. Might have to make it a private ceremony however...

The rest of their collection proved much more traditional with some truly stunning pieces.

WANG S/S12

T by Alexander Wang

Alexander wangs s/s 12 T collection is beyond beautiful. His tailoring is so delicately exquisite and every item is striking and so on trend.  I love the white on white, its so sophisticated and he is definitely the designer to follow during the spring and summer months. His silk cami's, loosely fitted knits, and cashmere vests paired with leather shorts, skirt or skinnys will be spot on for the following months. Basics are where its at for me at the moment, and as soon as payday arrives i will be stocking up on items suitable for layering, and pairing with chunky heels and heavy jewellery. I love the simplicity yet elegance of Wangs designs, his work truly is inspirational and I am currently on the hunt for cheaper high street versions as $500 a tee is a little pricey for a girl like me.

Tophops 'boutique' collection have some great basics that are definitely inspired by wang.

I bought this tee not long ago as well as some other basic vests. More expensive than the topshop basics yes, but the fit and style are majorly different, maybe not to the eye but trust me they hang better and look much more chic.

BOUTIQUE..

just a few of the items i need from the boutique collection at topshop...

Ah,yes i'm still obsessing over the Nike Blazers. I just love the simple, classic style and the range of colours and materials that are available. Fact.. the blazer, originally released in 1972 was Nike's first venture into basketball footwear. I'm still on the hunt for a pair of the suede vintage Nike Blazers in a small size, as my feet are tiny, however i stumbled across these, which are constructed of premium tumbled leathers and were set to release exclusively at size on Friday. With only 500 pairs available i think my chances of owning a pair in size 4 are pretty slim..

KNIT.

Knits are the perfect transitional layering piece and this Autumn Alexander Wang hits the spot. He is a one man empire and this season he veers towards a neo grunge aesthetic. Metallic silk skirts and sheer shirts beautifully teamed with his signature loose knit jumpers.

"The Alexander Wang woman is someone who embraces individuality. She wears my clothes exactly as she wants. There are no rules"

Basic chunky knits paired with this seasons favourite cut, the pencil skirt teamed with opulent oversized jewellery and killer ankle boots are the perfect recipe for that chic autumn look. For a more practical outfit, opt for tight leather jeans or black wet look leggings.

Isabel Marant A/W 11 collection

Portrait d'Isabel Marant

Isabel Marant's collection this fall is breathtaking, i obsess over her work. The woman never fails to disappoint. Grey wool, oversized ponchos, chunky knits, fringed leather boots and skin tight jeans. For this season there is nothing better. The collections by many designers from Paris Fashion week prove this season knits are back as statement pieces for A/W 11. I couldnt be happier. Personally i would ususally opt for the crocheted knits as seen in Christopher Kanes collection, however mohair is proving to be a winner for me this year. Natalia Vodionova on the Givenchy catwalk at Paris fashion week looked insanely beautiful in a cropped yellow mohair jumper.

Natalia Vodianova Natalia Vodianova walks the runway during the Givenchy Ready to Wear Autumn/Winter 2011/2012 show at the Palais de Tokyo during Paris Fashion Week on March 6, 2011 in Paris, France.

Currently on the hunt for a high street copy...

OVERDOSE

sugar and spikes, wild child, planetblue

Statement jewellery is a must in any season, you can never have or wear too much. I feel for me however, that it has become an addiction. It is a drug i want more and more of.. i am becoming extremely susceptible to it. 'Tomtom' jewellery is so exquisitie, Elena Coleman Howell launched tomtom jewellery in 2009, and as a former architect she applies a modern and graphical design to each stylised collection. I lust over her work.
