Alexander Wang - MFW

Here i've handpicked a few of my favourite pieces from the Alexander Wang Fall/Winter 12 collection at Milan Fashion Week.

I think my ongoing obsession with Alexander Wang can only get bigger with every collection. I found a great site online today that sells designer pieces for nearly half the price, its unreal and is pretty much my only way of owning one of Wang's pieces without blowing my entire wage.
His Fall collection demonstrated his love for street wear and architecture, and as always he didn't disappoint. His collections carry a sense of casual cool street wear and in this particular collection, a hint of grunge. So nice.

New Balance

Ahh SO obsessed with the New Balance trainers, especially the classic 410's and 420's. Payday needs to hurry up so i can get my hands on a pair, or two of these... 

The colours are bold and bang on trend, paired with pretty much anything these trainers will make any outfit appear retro and chic. Too nice. 

I now have a weekly Fashion column in the student paper, so Salford/Manc students please pick one up and have a read, i'd love to hear your comments. 

Feeling blue

Cobalt seems to be the colour of Autumn this season as it dominates the most recent runways. Combining oversize cocoon coats with a huge splash of cobalt, and just like magic the next statement pieces are in and are demanding our attention. Luckily for all of us, blue can suit any skin tone, its just a matter of choosing the right shade for you. Cobalt will look truly scrumptious with a light end of season tan.

Love the vans summer 12 collection, especially the two styles i have shown above. I need a pair of the Vans Era 48 Ca in Plaza Taupe asap.

Oversize.

Ive handpicked a few of my favourite looks from the fall collections from Chloe, Jil Sander, Proenza Schouler, Daks, Balenciaga and Stella Mcartney.
Low Crotches, cocoon sleeves and long lengths. Big is most certainly beautiful this fall, oversize is the message and it is a great look. I bought a pair of slouchy silk trousers from Zara today which i will pair with a silk shirt, or loose knit tee. The key is to keep things simple, which suits me as i am never one to wear anything too extravagant.

Stella McCartney

Ive handpicked a few of my favourite pieces from Stella McCartney's summer 2012 ready to wear collection. I really like her work as a designer her clothes are always classy and look so elegant and sophisticated. There is most definitely an air of slouchiness for most trends this summer and i am really enjoying it. McCartney follows this trend by complying with the looseness and lightweight fabrics. Her pieces are perfect for summer and appear casual yet chic. Tops tucked in, or sitting below the trouser line, slouchy silk trousers paired with silk shirts, dressing gown jackets and minimal accessories are all bang on this summer. Sweet.
